Mischief and Mayhem were rescued from a park in Garden Grove late September. A wonderful soul living out of her van saw them together near the curb to the parking lot; she picked them up and kept them safe in her jacket until help arrived. As with all babies, these two were trouble. Keeping their foster mom on her toes and calling for extra creativity. With Halloween on the horizon and the mischief these two would get themselves into, the names came about naturally. Foster mom also likes to call these two the Littles, because they were tiny little poofs when they first came under her care. They seem to respond to "Littles" as food is always on the way when they here that name.
Well it's been about 3 months since they were rescued and they aren't so little anymore and are growing into long legged beautiful rabbits, a very regal looking pair. They have also outgrown their baby behaviors and though very active, they do everything with a sense of calm even when they are clumsy. They both have their own unique personality but together they are the complete package. There can't be anything cuter than these two together; from fighting over a single leaf while a whole pile lay untouched, to laying side by side staring out the window to chasing each other around the room only to finish snuggling and giving kisses. Even when separated to recover from their Neuter and Spay surgeries, they still nibbled on each others toys through the pen, hung out in the side next to each other and kept a close eye on what the other was up to.
