Deacon was being treated for pasteurella (an upper respiratory infection) at a shelter. We took him in because pasteurella is contagious and can spread rapidly in a group of rabbits. He has been treated with several rounds of antibiotics and still sounds sniffly. We believe he will have chronic upper respiratory symptoms, although he isn't really sick. He can be adopted to be an only bunny, or to be a friend for another "pasteurella bunny".
Call his foster mom Kim from 9am to 8pm at (949)554-9007 to learn more about Deacon.
